Literally, electro-encephalo-graphy means writing of the electric activity of the brain. One of the most versatile brain imaging techniques is electroencephalography. Thanks to recent progress in imaging techniques, processor technologies, data analysis procedures and algorithms, both academic and commercial researchers are able to dive into the depths of the human brain and see how it shapes our perceptions and interactions with the world.
